Online applications are now closed

Winter students! If you missed the winter deadline, your next opportunity to apply will be next fall term. The winter opt-out period was from the date that you were assessed the fees to January 31st, 2025 and the family add-on and enroll period was from January 20th to 31st, 2025.

Fall 2025: The family add-on and enroll applications will open on September 16th, 2025, and the application deadline is September 29th, 2025. The Opt-Out deadline is September 30th, 2025 and must be submitted thought your Douglas College myAccount. This deadline is for all eligible students.

Submitting Online Applications

Before submitting your online applications, please review the eligibility criteria and read the Terms and Conditions.

The fallwinter term deadline to submit family add-on or enroll applications is September 29th, 2025 at 4:00 pm and opt-out applications is September 30th, 2025.family add-on or enroll applications was January 31st, 2025, at 4:00 pm.

Opt-Out

Withdraw from the Student Benefits Plan if you are covered by a comparable insurance from parents, spouse, work, government, or band and do not wish to Coordinate Benefits.

Family Add-On

Extend your Student Benefits Plan to include your dependents, providing them with the same Health and Dental benefits. Additional charges must be paid using a VISA or Mastercard credit card or a VISA Debit card.

Re-enroll/Opt-In

Re-Enroll in the Student Benefits Plan if you previously opted out, have lost your comparable insurance coverage and are still eligible for the plan OR Opt-In if you are a non-automatically eligible student taking more than 3 credits..
