1. Open the Online Tool

Registering is easy! Simply open gsceverywhere.ca/register on your web browser, enter your email address and confirm it, then click the Next button.

2. Verify your Email

You will receive a verification code from donotreply@system.greenshield.ca at your email address.

3. Provide the Code

Enter the 6-digit code on the registration page and click the Verify Code button. Once you get the verification, click on the Next button.

4. Register your Account

Enter your member ID in the format of RSUyourstudentnumber-00, your date of birth, and the number of dependents on your plan (Only provide the number of dependents, if you purchased family coverage. Otherwise enter 0). Then, click on the Next button.

If the member ID is invalid, please reach out to your Benefits Plan Office at tmsu@mystudentplan.ca to confirm your enrollment in the plan.

5. Enter your Mobile number

Enter your mobile number and click on the next button.

You will need the mobile number to receive a verification code when you login.

6. Enter your Direct Deposit Information

Enter your banking details, checkmark the box at the end to authorize Green Shield Canada to deposit funds directly to your bank account and click the Next button.

If you do not want to set up direct deposit, simply click the Skip for Now link.

7. Create your Password

Create your password for your Green Shield Canada account and make sure you meet the criteria for password. Then re-enter the password and click on the Next button.

8. One Final Step

You will see your new email to log in on this page. Click on the Finalize Registration to complete the registration process.

9. Login to GSC Everywhere

Use your email address and password to log in to your Green Shield account. For the security of your account, Green Shield Canada will send an access code to your phone, email or MS authenticator, select your preferred method and click the Continue button. Enter the access code to complete the login.

1. Log in to GSC Everywhere

Open Green Shield Canada Everywhere Tool in your web browser or your GSC Everywhere app and log in with the username and password created.

2. Start a Claim

Once logged in to your account, Click on Submit a claim button on top right corner of your dashboard to submit a new claim.

Have your receipts and any supporting documents handy.

3. Select type of Claim

In the Search field, enter the type of claim you are submitting or click in the field and select the name of the item or service by using the side scroll bar.

Note that the list of claim types available may include benefits not covered by your plan.

4. Select your Provider

If you see your provider listed, click on their name then Next Step link. If the name of your provider does not display, enter the phone number or business name or last and click the Search button.

If after searching the name of your provider displays in the results, click their name then Next Step link.

5. Add a New Provider

If your provider is not displayed in the previous step, click Add a New Provider button and enter as much information as you have available. Once finished, click Confirm Entry button then proceed to the next step.

6. Select the Patient

In the drop-down menu, select the plan member for whom the claim is being submitted. If you purchased family coverage, your members will be listed.

Complete the Questions We Have to Ask section - Yes (Y) or No (N).

7. Add receipts or documents

Some claims can be submitted for immediate processing, some will require you to upload your documents.

If the claim can be processed immediately, you will be able to select your item or service, input the date, length of visit (if applicable) and total dollar amount charged.

8. Review the information

Review all information to make sure it is accurate.

9. Submit the Claim

Select the checkbox next to The Legal Stuff, then Click Submit button. The message "Claim complete. Here's your summary." will display indicating your claim was successfully submitted.
