Get the right legal support! mylegalplan provides students access to legal resources such as customizable legal documents, 24/7 legal hotline to speak with a legal assistant and consultation with a lawyer from the national network to pursue any civil legal issues.

Opting Out of the plan

If you wish to opt out of Virtual Legal Hub - mylegalplan, you need to complete the online form and submit the application before the applicable deadline. Once your application is approved, you will no longer have access to legal support for the next 12 months.

Before completing the online form, please read and understand the following information.

Deadline to submit applications
30 days from the official start date of your program.

All eligible Students enrolled in mylegalplan may submit an online application to opt out of mylegalplan based on their personal choice at the start of their academic year before the applicable deadline.

The student is given one (1) opportunity to opt-out of mylegalplan each year at the start of their academic year. All opt-out forms must be completed online and must be received by the applicable deadline.

Important notes:
  • The mylegalplan opt-out is an annual opt-out. You will be re-enrolled next year on your enrolment anniversary and if you wish to opt-out again you will need to complete this Form prior to the applicable deadline.
  • The mylegalplan Opt-Out process is unconditional. students are not required to have proof of coverage elsewhere.
  • Students who opt-out of the Virtual Legal Hub - mylegalplan will no longer be able to use the legal benefits.
  • Approval of the mylegalplan opt-out will result in the mylegalplan fee being refunded according to the school's policy.
  • Once you opt-out of mylegalplan, you will not be able to re-enroll in the program until your enrolment anniversary.
  • NO EXCEPTIONS will be made if the deadline is missed. It is the student's responsibility to pay the plan's mandatory fees, should they miss the applicable opt-out deadline.
  • Once you complete the mylegalplan Opt-Out form, you will receive an automated email confirmation. Please keep this email for your records as it is your only proof of submitting an opt-out request.

2 Confirm the Opt-Out
Check the box to confirm that you wish to Opt-Out of the plan. Click NEXT.
3 Read and Agree to the Terms and Conditions
Click on the checkbox to indicate that you agree to the Terms and Conditions agreement. Click SUBMIT to finish your application.
4 Confirmation email
Check your email and verify if you have received the confirmation email.
If you do not receive this email, you must resubmit the form.
5 Application status
You will receive an email with the status of your application.
